Our growing, high-level dental implant and full-mouth reconstruction practice is seeking an exceptional Surgical Assistant to join our team. This is not a traditional dental assisting position. We are looking for a motivated, dependable, and career-minded individual who thrives in a fast-paced surgical environment and takes pride in delivering an outstanding patient experience.
We specialize in advanced dental implant surgery, full-arch rehabilitation, bone grafting, and complex surgical procedures. Every day brings new challenges and opportunities to learn from an experienced surgical team.
While prior surgical experience is preferred, we are willing to train the right candidate who demonstrates professionalism, strong work ethic, attention to detail, and a desire to grow.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist the doctor during dental implant surgeries, full-arch (All-on-X) procedures, extractions, bone grafting, and other advanced surgical treatments
- Prepare and maintain surgical operatories before, during, and after procedures
- Set up instruments, equipment, and surgical materials
- Ensure strict sterilization and infection control protocols are followed
- Take digital X-rays, CBCT scans, photographs, and assist with clinical documentation
- Monitor and support patients throughout their treatment experience
- Maintain efficient clinical flow in a high-volume surgical practice
- Anticipate the doctor’s needs and provide proactive chairside support
- Stock and organize surgical suites and clinical supplies
- Assist with post-operative instructions and patient education
- Cross-train in additional clinical responsibilities as needed
- Embrace an "all hands on deck" team culture

Preferred
- Dental Assisting experience
- Illinois Dental Assistant experience
- X-ray certification
- Experience in oral surgery, periodontics, prosthodontics, or implant dentistry
- Experience with digital dentistry and CBCT imaging
