Support Centre Consultant: Hardware

Agrinet is seeking a Hardware Support Consultant to deliver first-tier telephonic support, assist customers with enquiries and orders, and provide product guidance. This role focuses on generating sales, maintaining client relationships, and ensuring customer satisfaction through professional, efficient communication. Responsibilities:

• Provide telephone support by answering calls promptly, resolving queries through stakeholder liaison, minimizing hold/transfers, and ensuring customer satisfaction with clear, professional communication.
• Maintain service standards by keeping abandon/idle rates low, managing busy time efficiently, achieving outbound call targets, preparing accurate quotations, processing orders on ERP, confirming payments, and driving new sales through telephone marketing and promotions.
• Provide updates on order status, stock availability, and product pricing; inform clients of product changes; ensure compliance with order value policies; and build strong client relationships.
• Stay updated on the in-house product range, attend weekly training sessions, maintain a resource file, and act as a reliable information source for customers.
• Maintain organized filing systems, manage and archive emails promptly, save client feedback for reference, and provide weekly order records to administrators.
• Assist with ad hoc tasks as required, ensuring flexibility and teamwork across the business.

• National Senior Certificate (Grade 12).
• Minimum of 3 years’ relevant sales experience.
• Proficiency in MS Office
• Knowledge of Enterprise Resource Planning system (ERP)
• Strong communication skills.
• Ability to work effectively under pressure
