Overview
Hire Resolve’s client is seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Supply Chain Coordinator to join their team in the manufacturing industry in Gauteng. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in supply chain management, excellent organizational skills, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities :
Coordinate and monitor the supply chain operations to ensure timely delivery of materials and products
Manage inventory levels and work closely with suppliers to maintain optimal stock levels
Develop and implement supply chain strategies to improve efficiency and reduce costs
Track and analyze supply chain data to identify opportunities for process improvement
Communicate with internal teams and external stakeholders to ensure smooth supply chain operations
Maintain accurate records and documentation related to supply chain activities
Co-ordinate and maintain the replenishment schedule, analyze the schedule by doing “what if” scenarios, and report on progress
Track shipments and report daily on timelines
Manage Export and Import documentation
Permit applications
Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree in supply chain management or a related field
3+ years operational experience in a FMCG production environment
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Proficient in Microsoft Office and supply chain management software
Ability to work independently and prioritize tasks effectively
Knowledge of logistics and procurement processes
Familiarity with lean manufacturing principles is a plus
CPIM / CSCA will be an advantage
Sound understanding and knowledge of MRP / MPS logic
