An EME based in Pretoria East, Waltloo is seeking an experienced Supervisor to join their team.
Minimum Requirements
- National Diploma in Mechanical Engineering or a related engineering field
- Minimum 7 years’ experience supervising welding, fabrication, and hydraulic works
- Level 2 Welding Inspector Diploma
- SAQCC Visual Inspector Certification
- Experience in mining, power generation, infrastructure, or heavy industrial projects
- Strong knowledge of welding quality standards, fabrication, hydraulics, and site supervision
- Proficient in Microsoft Office
Key Responsibilities
- Supervise welding, fabrication, and hydraulic installation and maintenance activities
- Ensure compliance with project specifications, quality standards, and safety requirements
- Inspect work to ensure it meets approved welding and fabrication procedures
- Coordinate labour, materials, and equipment on site
- Conduct quality inspections and maintain inspection records
- Liaise with engineers, clients, and project teams to ensure successful project execution
