Job Function:
To coordinate and control the quality of the work activities of a team accountable for operational warehouse supply and contributing to managerial decision-making.
Key Performance Areas:
- Execute own work and team work according to set operating procedures and service level agreements.
- Focus on health safety and environment within the depot.
- Execute own work and teamwork in line with governance and compliance processes. Monitor and report on own and teams’ transactional activities to provide timely information for decision making.
- Plan, coordinate and deliver own and team activities to ensure that agreed standards and operational objectives are met. (Daily to 3 months)
- Coordinate and participate in learning interventions to establish a learning and development culture within the team.
- Create an engaging, enabling, and productive work climate aligned to the employee value proposition by demonstrating leadership through personal commitment to organisational values.
- Coordinate and monitor daily work activities within the team environment in order to prevent financial losses.
- Coordinate team activities to meet and exceed internal and external customer expectations. Perform administrative tasks related to the ordering, tracking, counting and payment of pallet accounts.
- Analyse and consolidate end of shift reports to identify corrective actions.
- Implement daily operational plans.
Qualifications Required:
- Diploma (NQF Level 6).
Experience and Skills Required:
- Up to 5 years of experience in a similar environment, with at least 2 years tactical leadership / specialist experience.
