About the Role
We are looking for a detail-oriented and highly organized Treasury & Disbursements Officer to join our team. This role is critical in ensuring accurate financial processing, effective cash flow management, and the smooth handling of supplier payments, insurance claims, and operational finance tasks.
Key Responsibilities
Financial Processing & Disbursements
- Capture and process supplier invoices and credit notes
- Maintain accurate records in the accounting system
- Ensure all invoices are correctly matched, coded, and processed
Rental & Billing Administration
- Capture and maintain rental schedules
- Process utility and insurance-related invoices
- Assist with intercompany postings
Cash Flow & Reporting
- Prepare weekly cash flow forecasts
- Monitor and update bank balances
- Assist with creditors cash flow planning and reporting
Supplier & Account Management
- Perform supplier reconciliations and age analysis
- Investigate and resolve discrepancies
- Maintain supplier records and documentation
Insurance & Claims Administration
- Process property and vehicle insurance claims
- Liaise with insurers and track claims through to settlement
- Maintain accurate records and follow up on outstanding claims
Operational Support
- Coordinate vehicle servicing and maintenance bookings
- Manage insurance inventory updates
- Capture and submit water readings and related municipal data
Minimum Requirements
- Diploma or Degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field
- 2–4 years’ experience in a finance / treasury / creditors environment
- Strong understanding of invoice processing and financial controls
- High attention to detail and accuracy
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel and accounting systems
- Strong administrative and organizational skills
