We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Supervisor to oversee hygiene services. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing a team of cleaners, ensuring the highest standards of cleanliness and hygiene are maintained across various facilities. This role requires strict adherence to contractual obligations, health and safety regulations, and environmental management standards.
Key Responsibilities
Supervise and manage a team of hygiene service personnel.Ensure all hygiene services are delivered in accordance with the Scope of Work (SOW) and client specifications.
Implement and monitor cleaning schedules and quality control procedures.Conduct regular inspections of facilities to ensure compliance with hygiene standards, SABS specifications, and the OHS Act 85 of 1993.
Manage the monthly supply and service of hygiene equipment (e.g., soap dispensers, urinal sanitizers, SHE bins).Oversee the proper disposal of hazardous waste and ensure monthly disposal certificates are obtained.
Maintain accurate records of services rendered and equipment used.Ensure all staff adhere to company policies, safety protocols, and wear appropriate Personal Protective Equipment (PPE).
Provide training and guidance to team members as needed.Liaise with client representatives to address any concerns or feedback.Requirements:
Experience: Minimum of three (3) years of proven experience as a Supervisor in Commercial Cleaning.Education: General Education and Training Certificate: Hygiene and Cleaning – NQF Level: 01 – Credits: 120.
18-33 years.
Skills: Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills. Ability to manage a team effectively and ensure high-quality service delivery.
Compliance: Thorough understanding of SABS specifications, OHS Act 85 of 1993, and environmental management requirements.
Personal Attributes: Reliable, proactive, detail-oriented, and able to work independently and as part of a team.
Pay: R11 227,00 – R13 778,00 per month
