We are looking for a highly organised and detail-oriented Student Support Administrator to join our team.
This role plays a critical behind-the-scenes function in supporting the student lifecycle by providing second-level and backend administrative support across our campuses. You will be responsible for managing escalations, maintaining accurate student records, supporting exam logistics, and ensuring seamless coordination between departments.
This is an ideal opportunity for someone who enjoys structure, systems, and problem-solving, and who thrives in a fast-paced academic environment. The role includes rotational evening and weekend shifts to support virtual classes and ensure continuous student support.
Key Responsibilities
Student Administration
- Manage escalated tickets and complex student queries
- Process student enrolments and maintain accurate portal data
- Prepare Statements of Results (SORs), certificates, and verification documentation
- Liaise with external bodies such as DHET, SETAs, ICB, CIMA, and SLPs
- Maintain accurate student and intake records across systems
Intake & Operational Support
- Assist with intake preparation (master plans, registration data, resource readiness)
- Distribute e-book licences and study materials where applicable
- Support exam processes (permits, invigilation coordination, student escorting)
- Provide after-hours support for virtual classes (rotational shifts)
- Assist with open days, events, and student orientation
Inventory & Procurement
- Maintain stock records of learning resources and licences in collaboration with Finance
- Ensure procurement documentation is accurate and compliant
- Manage certificate tracking, sign-in processes, and secure storage
Cross-Functional Collaboration
- Work closely with Sales, Marketing, Academic, and Student Support teams
- Support qualification-related administration and operational alignment
- Assist assessors and moderators with POE readiness and tracking
- Shadow and support senior academic administrators (Level 3) during lower-volume periods
What We’re Looking For
- Bachelor’s degree in Administration, Education, Business Administration, or a related field
- 2–3 years’ experience in student administration, academic support, or operational support roles
- Strong organisational, coordination, and time management skills
- High attention to detail and ability to manage multiple priorities
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, Forms (Google/Microsoft), and student/admin systems
- Ability to work flexible shifts, including evenings and weekends
