Hours: 1.0 FTE
Description: We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Student Success Coach to join our the Duneside Discovery nature based learning team and provide specialized support to students in the early childhood setting. The ideal candidate will be skilled in behavior intervention, data-driven strategies, and positive reinforcement to foster a safe, supportive, and inclusive learning environment. This role requires close collaboration with teachers, administrators, families, and community resources to create individualized positive behavior support plans and track progress to help every student succeed.
Applicants For This Position Must Meet The Following Criteria
- Must possess a valid Michigan Teaching Certificate with Elementary Teaching K-5 endorsement.
- Minimum of five (5) years of successful teaching experience, preferably at early childhood or early elementary level.
- Experience implementing a Multi-Tiered System of Supports (MTSS).
- Knowledge of school discipline laws, student due process, and PBIS best practices.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills with staff, students, and families.
- Experience using data to monitor student behavior, attendance, and intervention effectiveness.
