VACANCY: STOREMAN – PLUMBING COMPANY
We are seeking a reliable and organized Storeman to join our plumbing company. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing plumbing materials, tools, and stock to support daily operations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Receive, check, and record incoming stock
- Issue tools and materials to plumbers as required
- Maintain accurate stock records and inventory levels
- Keep the storeroom clean, organized, and secure
- Conduct regular stock counts and report shortages or damages
- Liaise with suppliers and assist with ordering materials
- Ensure tools and materials are stored safely
Requirements:
- Previous experience as a storeman or in a similar role (preferred)
- Basic knowledge of plumbing materials and tools (advantage)
- Good organizational and record-keeping skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Honest, reliable, and physically fit
- Basic computer skills (stock systems or spreadsheets)
