Job Description
- Loading, deliveries, dispatch and receiving of goods to and from customers and suppliers.
- Ensure goods being delivered and collected have the correct supporting documents.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date schedule trip sheets i.e., log official trips, daily mileage.
- Complete weekly vehicle inspection report to ensure that the vehicle is always in road worthy condition.
- Assist with general stores duties and tasks.
- Be flexible to transfer to any other duties considered necessary to meet the needs of the company.
- Oversee the receipt of stock and inventory
- Verify quality of incoming goods and record on system
- Monitor stock against agreed inventory levels
- Conduct monthly stock count on inventory and consumables
Requirements
- Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record
- Previous experience as a driver in a corporate setting
- Excellent knowledge of Durban and surrounding areas
- Must have clear criminal record
- Good communication skills, with a courteous and professional demeanour
- Computer literacy
- Numerical skills
- Excellent time management
- Customer service experience
- Attention to detail
- Matric certificate
