Job Title: Stores Supervisor
Department: Supply Chain / Stores
Reporting To: Factory Manager
Role Objective: The Stores Supervisor is accountable for the end-to-end operation of the raw materials, packaging, and finished goods stores at Frimax. This leadership role ensures system accuracy within Syspro, enforces strict food safety and traceability standards, safeguards company assets, and ensures seamless material supply to the production floor.
Key Responsibilities:
- Syspro ERP & Traceability Management:
· Act as the primary authority for stores transactions in Syspro.
· Ensure 100% accurate batch and lot tracking within Syspro for full end-to-end traceability of all raw materials and packaging.
· Authorize, investigate, and process Reverse GRVs to correct system errors or process supplier returns.
· Generate daily and weekly inventory reports for the Factory Manager, highlighting variances, stock-outs, or slow-moving items.
- Inventory Control & Security:
· Plan and lead daily cycle counts and comprehensive month-end physical stocktakes, reconciling physical counts against Syspro balances.
· Enforce strict store security protocols, ensuring unauthorized personnel do not enter the stores to prevent shrinkage.
· Ensure absolute compliance with FIFO (First-In-First-Out) and FEFO (First-Expired-First-Out) to minimize spoilage and obsolescence.
- Operational Workflow & Requisitions:
· Govern the internal issuing process, ensuring no materials leave the stores without a fully authorized Requisition Form.
· Establish and oversee a formal "Return to Stores" process for unused materials coming back from production, ensuring they are accurately re-weighed, resealed, and processed back into Syspro.
- Compliance, Food Safety & OHS:
· Enforce Frimax’s hygiene and housekeeping standards, ensuring audit readiness at all times.
· Ensure strict physical segregation of allergens, cleaning chemicals, and standard raw ingredients.
· Enforce Occupational Health and Safety (OHS) rules, including mandatory PPE, safe stacking heights, and daily pre-use inspections for forklifts and pallet jacks.
- Team Leadership:
· Direct, train, and manage Stores Clerks and material handlers.
· Manage shift handovers to ensure continuity of operations between shifts.
Pay: R10 000,00 – R20 000,00 per month
Experience:
- Warehouse management : 3 years (Required)
