Key Responsibilities:

Develop & Execute Store Strategies

  • Create and implement store strategies aligned with the company’s vision.
  • Analyze market trends, competitors, and customer needs, implementing actionable plans.
  • Ensure team alignment with store and departmental strategies to deliver exceptional results.

Achieve Financial Targets

  • Drive profitability through sales and margin improvements.
  • Implement shrinkage control, expense management, and obsolescence plans.
  • Monitor performance to achieve and ensure accurate financial reporting.

Customer-Centric Leadership

  • Foster a customer-first mindset and service-oriented culture in the store.
  • Lead by example, ensuring staff deliver exceptional customer experiences.
  • Develop and execute in-store activities/events to engage and energize both staff and customers.

Market Growth

  • Analyze customer behavior and footfall, implementing plans for sustainable growth.
  • Conduct price surveys, ensure price competitiveness, and develop strategies to increase market share.
  • Build and maintain relationships with key customers to enhance profitability.

People Management

  • Develop a team strategy to support recruitment, training, and development.
  • Implement succession planning and ensure career development discussions for high-potential employees.
  • Drive transformational leadership practices and effective performance management.

Risk & Compliance Management:

  • Maintain a safe environment for customers and staff by adhering to all health and safety policies.
  • Ensure compliance with applicable laws, policies, and internal controls.
  • Develop and practice emergency contingency plans.

Qualification and Requirements:

  • Grade: 12 / NQF Level 4
  • 5-10 Years’ experience in a store /retail management experience
  • 3-4 Years sales & service management.
  • Budgeting.
  • Computer literacy.
  • Recruitment
  • Excellent Communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Retail trade.
  • Brand, customer & product understanding.
  • Strong business acumen and problem – solving skills
  • A passion for customer service
  • Be able to work in Malaysia for 2 months for training
