Stainer/Glazer
4-10 hour shifts (Monday – Thursday; 6am-4:30pm)
We are seeking a dependable and detail-oriented Stainer/Glazer to join our team. This position is responsible for applying high-quality finishes to wood products while maintaining production efficiency, safety, and quality standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Operate, clean, and maintain spray paint and finishing equipment
- Coordinate incoming and outgoing parts throughout the finishing process
- Apply stain, toner, paint, and lacquer using high-volume, low-pressure (HVLP) spray guns
- Apply finish materials to wood substrates using standard finishing techniques
- Mix and prepare finishing materials and ingredients
- Maintain a clean and organized work area
- Perform additional duties as assigned
Qualifications & Skills
- Self-motivated with strong attention to detail
- Willingness to learn new skills through in-house training
- Strong teamwork and communication skills
- Desire to grow within the company and learn additional positions
- Ability to distinguish between color variations
Physical Requirements
- Ability to stand and walk for extended periods of time
- Frequent use of hands to handle tools, controls, and materials
- Ability to reach with hands and arms regularly
- Must be able to lift and/or move:
- Up to 10 pounds continuously
- Up to 50 pounds frequently
Schedule
- Full-time
- Four 10 hour days (Monday – Thursday, 6am-4:30pm)
- Day shift
- No weekends
Pay: $20.86 – $25.75 per hour
