Generic Accountability:

  • SQL Database Management: Oversee the management of SQL databases, ensuring their proper configuration, optimization, and reliability.
  • SQL Administration: Serve as the SQL administrator, performing tasks such as user management, security configurations, and system monitoring.
  • Database Performance Optimization: Implement strategies to optimize the performance of SQL databases, ensuring efficient data retrieval and processing.
  • Backup and Recovery: Develop and implement backup and recovery strategies for SQL databases to safeguard data integrity and ensure business continuity.
  • Security and Encryption: Implement and maintain security measures for SQL databases, including encryption, access controls, and vulnerability assessments.
  • Data Replication: Oversee database replication processes to ensure data consistency across different environments, such as production, testing, and development.
  • Monitoring and Reporting: Implement monitoring tools to assess the performance of SQL databases and provide regular reports on system health and compliance.
  • SQL Jobs Scheduling: Manage and schedule SQL jobs for routine tasks, ensuring timely execution and accuracy.
  • Collaboration with IT Teams: Collaborate with other IT teams to understand their database requirements and ensure the successful implementation of SQL solutions.
  • Incident Response: Lead incident response for SQL databases, coordinating resolution efforts to minimize disruptions in database operations.
  • Change Management: Oversee change management processes related to SQL databases, ensuring controlled and efficient updates.

Minimum Qualification:

Education: Bachelor's degree in IT, Computer Science, or a related field

Experience: From 3-5 years of experience in SQL databases

SQL Administration: Demonstrated in serving as a SQL administrator, performing tasks such as user management, security configurations, and system monitoring.

Data Replication: Ability to oversee database replication processes for data consistency across different environments.

Security and Encryption: In-depth knowledge of implementing and maintaining security measures for SQL databases, including encryption and access controls.

Incident Response: incident response for SQL databases, coordinating resolution efforts promptly.

Change Management: Demonstrated in overseeing change management processes for SQL database updates.

Continuous Improvement: Ability to drive continuous improvement initiatives for SQL database management processes.

Collaboration Skills: Collaboration skills, with experience working with diverse IT teams to ensure seamless database operations.
