The Lab Chemist is responsible for conducting routine chemical and physical tests on oil, coolant, and other industrial fluids following established laboratory procedures. The role includes analyzing test data, preparing accurate technical reports, maintaining precise documentation, and supporting the calibration and upkeep of laboratory equipment. This position also contributes to enhancing laboratory processes, collaborating with team members to resolve technical issues, and ensuring full compliance with safety and quality standards.
Job Description :
- Perform routine chemical and physical tests on oil, coolant, and industrial fluids.
- Analyze results and prepare accurate technical reports.
- Maintain and support calibration of lab equipment.
- Assist in improving lab procedures and solving technical issues.
- Follow all EHS standards and site safety protocols.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, or a related field.
- Basic lab techniques and instrumentation knowledge.
- Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
- English proficiency (Reading & Writing)
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office.
- Willing to learn, adapt, and relocate when needed.
- Ability to work a 20 days on / 10 days off rotation in Marsa Allam.
- Must be from Alexandria.
