Job Purpose

The Specialist Solution Analyst is responsible for analyzing business requirements and translating them into functional and technical solutions that align with the bank’s strategic objectives. The role works closely with business stakeholders, architects, developers, and delivery teams to design scalable and compliant solutions that enhance banking platforms, digital channels, and internal systems.

The Specialist Solution Analyst plays a critical role in bridging the gap between business needs and technology delivery while ensuring regulatory compliance, operational efficiency, and high-quality solution outcomes.

Key Responsibilities:

Business & Solution Analysis

Engage with business stakeholders to gather, analyze, and document business requirements.

Translate business requirements into functional specifications, solution designs, and user stories.

Facilitate workshops with stakeholders to refine requirements and define solution scope.

Analyze current systems and processes to identify opportunities for improvement and automation.

Solution Design

Collaborate with Enterprise Architects, Developers, and Product Owners to design end-to-end solutions.

Ensure solution designs align with enterprise architecture standards and banking regulatory requirements.

Define system integration requirements across internal and external banking systems.

Produce process flows, use cases, and solution architecture documentation.

Delivery & Implementation

Support Agile or hybrid delivery teams during solution development.

Provide clarifications on requirements to developers and QA teams.

Participate in sprint planning, backlog grooming, and solution walkthroughs.

Ensure that delivered solutions meet the defined requirements and quality standards.

Stakeholder Management

Act as the primary liaison between business units and technology teams.

Communicate complex technical concepts in a clear manner to non-technical stakeholders.

Ensure alignment between business expectations and solution delivery.

Governance & Compliance

Ensure solutions comply with banking regulations, risk policies, and security standards.

Support testing teams with test case validation and user acceptance testing.

Assist with change management and production deployment readiness.

Minimum Requirements

Education

Bachelor’s Degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Business Information Systems, or related field.

Experience

5 – 8 years experience in Business Analysis / Solution Analysis.

Experience working in banking or financial services environments.

Proven experience working with enterprise systems, integrations, and digital platforms.

Strong experience in Agile delivery environments.

Technical Skills

Business and Solution Analysis methodologies

Process modelling (BPMN, UML)

API and system integration concepts

Agile frameworks (Scrum / SAFe)

Data analysis and SQL knowledge

System documentation and requirements management tools (e.g., Jira, Confluence)
