Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site role based in Port Harcourt for Solar Engineers & Technicians. The primary responsibilities of this role include the design, installation, and maintenance of solar power systems for residential and commercial projects. Daily tasks involve preparing photovoltaic (PV) system designs, troubleshooting and repairing solar systems, conducting electrical component installations, and ensuring all systems are compliant with local and international safety standards.
Qualifications
- Proficiency in Solar Industry and Solar Power technologies
- Strong knowledge of Solar Systems installation, operation, and maintenance
- Experience with PV Design and Electrical Design for solar energy systems
- Understanding of safety procedures and regulations in the energy and electrical sectors
- Excellent troubleshooting, problem-solving, and technical skills
- Effective communication and teamwork abilities
- Relevant certifications in solar energy or electrical engineering are advantageous
- Previous experience in renewable energy or similar industries preferred
