Our client in the Transport Industry is seeking a dynamic Intermediate Software Project Delivery Lead to join their young and vibrant team. This role combines project Delivery lead with light business analysis responsibilities, ensuring successful delivery of technology and business initiatives.
The successful candidate will play a key role in understanding business needs, managing project delivery, and coordinating teams to ensure solutions are delivered effectively.
This is a delivery-focused role, requiring strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills to drive projects from concept through to completion.
Key Responsibilities Project Delivery & Management
- Manage and deliver projects from initiation to completion.
- Ensure projects are delivered on time, within scope, and aligned with business objectives.
- Facilitate planning sessions to break down work into tasks, user stories, and effort estimates.
- Coordinate project teams and monitor project progress.
- Track deliverables and ensure deadlines are met.
- Provide regular status updates and feedback to business stakeholders.
Business Understanding & Requirements
- Work closely with business stakeholders to understand what needs to be delivered.
- Translate business requirements into clear deliverables for project teams.
- Support the definition and documentation of project scope and objectives.
- Assist in clarifying requirements during project delivery.
Team Coordination
- Lead and coordinate cross-functional teams.
- Facilitate collaboration between technical teams and business stakeholders.
- Ensure team members clearly understand deliverables and timelines.
Agile Project Management
- Work within an Agile / Scrum environment.
- Support sprint planning, backlog refinement, and sprint reviews.
- Monitor progress of tasks and ensure delivery commitments are met.
Stakeholder Communication
- Maintain clear communication with business stakeholders.
- Provide progress updates and manage expectations throughout the project lifecycle.
- Identify and manage risks or delivery challenges early.
Business Development Support
- Contribute to business development initiatives where required.
- Assist in identifying opportunities for process improvement and project efficiency.
Requirements Experience
- Proven experience in a Software Project Delivery lead role.
- Experience working in an Agile / Scrum delivery environment.
- Exposure to business analysis or requirements gathering.
