Help one of South Africa’s largest financial institutions fight financial crime
This is far more than a software support role.
You’ll become the technical implementation expert responsible for delivering and configuring enterprise software that helps banks detect fraud, prevent money laundering, and meet regulatory compliance requirements.
Working onsite with a major financial services customer in Sandton, you’ll partner with technical teams, business stakeholders and solution architects to implement, configure and optimise market-leading financial crime software used to process millions of transactions every day.

What you’ll be doing
- Work directly with a major banking customer to implement and configure enterprise financial crime software.
- Install, customise and optimise software solutions to meet client requirements.
- Write and develop Microsoft SQL scripts, queries and stored procedures.
- Troubleshoot technical and functional issues across customer environments.
- Support software upgrades, deployments and new feature implementations.
- Work closely with business users, solution architects and software engineers throughout project delivery.
- Investigate production issues and identify long-term improvements.
- Develop automation scripts and utilities to streamline operational processes.
- Support customer testing, system tuning and performance optimisation.
- Coordinate with global engineering and product teams to deliver successful implementations.
We’re looking for someone with
- Experience implementing or supporting enterprise software solutions within customer environments.
- Strong Microsoft SQL Server knowledge, including SQL scripting and query optimisation.
- Experience working with enterprise applications and databases.
- Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills.
- Excellent communication skills and confidence working directly with customers.
- A proactive, consultative approach to solving technical challenges.
Nice to have
- Experience with in banking, financial services or Fin Tech.
- Exposure to Anti-Money Laundering (AML), Know Your Customer (KYC), Fraud Detection or Financial Crime solutions.
- Cloud platform exposure (AWS, Azure or GCP).
- Knowledge of CI/CD or Dev Ops tooling.
