Our client in Centurion is Hiring! Software Developer
They are seeking a skilled and experienced PHP / Laravel Developer with strong expertise in Vue.js, Laravel, PHP, SQL, Python, HTML, and AI development tools. The successful candidate will have a solid understanding of the full software development stack, including frontend, middleware, backend systems, and API integrations
This role requires a detail-oriented developer who is passionate about building scalable, high-quality software solutions. The successful candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, testing, debugging, and maintaining applications while ensuring optimal performance, reliability, and user experience.
Requirements:
- Strong experience with Vue.js, Laravel, PHP, SQL, and HTML.
- Proficiency in Python and experience applying programming concepts across different technologies.
- Strong understanding of frontend, middleware, and backend architecture.
- Experience developing and integrating RESTful APIs.
- Ability to write clean, maintainable, testable, and efficient code.
- Strong understanding of software testing principles, including unit and integration testing.
- Experience with version control systems such as Git.
- Familiarity with automated testing frameworks.
- Experience working with development tools such as Docker and Postman.
- Understanding of CI/CD pipelines and Agile software development methodologies.
- Knowledge of web security best practices.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and debugging skills.
- Ability to work independently while contributing effectively within a collaborative team environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design, develop, and maintain scalable web applications using Vue.js for frontend development and Laravel for backend development.
- Write clean, efficient, and well-documented code using PHP, HTML, SQL, and related technologies.
- Develop, maintain, and integrate APIs and third-party services.
- Work across the full software development stack, including frontend, middleware, backend, and database systems.
- Collaborate with designers, QA testers, project managers, and other development team members.
- Perform comprehensive software testing, including unit, integration, and functional testing.
- Identify, troubleshoot, and resolve software bugs, performance issues, and technical challenges.
- Participate in code reviews and contribute to improving coding standards, processes, and best practices.
- Utilise AI development tools to enhance productivity, development processes, and software solutions.
- Stay updated with emerging technologies, industry trends, and modern development practices
