We are seeking a talented and perfectly bilingual Social Media & Community Manager to join our team in Yaoundé. The ideal candidate will be a creative and proactive professional, passionate about digital communication and community building. This role is crucial for managing our online presence and engaging with our community across multiple platforms.

The Social Media & Community Manager will be responsible for managing the digital presence of the different subsidiaries under our group of companies. We are committed to excellence and innovation across all our business activities, and we’re looking for someone to help us tell our story and connect with our audiences.

Responsibilities:

  • Content Creation: Develop, write, and publish engaging content for all social media channels (e.g., Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn).
  • Website Management: Regularly update and maintain our WordPress website with fresh content, news, and company information.
  • Community Engagement: Actively monitor and respond to comments, messages, and inquiries from our online community in a timely and professional manner.
  • Strategy & Planning: Assist in developing and executing our digital marketing and social media strategy.
  • Reporting: Track and analyze key social media metrics to report on performance and identify areas for growth.

Qualifications:

  • Must be perfectly bilingual in English and French, both written and spoken.
  • Proven experience in a social media, community management, or digital marketing role.
  • Proficiency with WordPress and various social media platforms.
  • Excellent writing, communication, and interpersonal skills.
  • A creative and strategic mindset with a keen eye for detail.
  • Must be located in Yaoundé, Cameroon.
