What we need?
Skilled Labor, I&C will assist in the maintenance, installation, overhauling, and modification activities on the plant’s instrumentation and control systems under the guidance of senior technicians, ensuring compliance with HSE guidelines, quality standards, and standard maintenance procedures.
Instrumentation and Control Maintenance
- Support the execution of routine preventative maintenance activities on instrumentation and control systems as per the maintenance schedule and under the guidance of the Instrumentation and Controls Technician.
- Monitor and report the physical condition of equipment and systems to senior technicians or supervisors to facilitate timely interventions and adherence to quality/HSE standards.
- Assist in responding to instrumentation and control system failures and participate in implementing corrective actions to minimize downtime.
- Aid in troubleshooting by providing necessary tools, gathering spare parts, and assisting with tasks like dismantling, cleaning, repairing, and reassembling components.
- Support senior technicians in diagnosing malfunctions or failures in operational equipment (e.g., control valves, transmitters) and executing corrective actions.
- Familiarize with and apply knowledge of technical manuals, control diagrams, and system diagrams to assist in maintenance tasks effectively.
- Assist in alignment, adjustment, and calibration of systems and equipment as per specifications, ensuring proper documentation of repairs, calibrations, and test
- Update the maintenance logbook and record details of work carried out including defaults, problems, various findings and conditions of all instrumentation and control systems to ensure timely availability of information and organised referencing.
Health, Safety, Security & Environment:
- Adhere to all relevant health, safety, security and environmental procedures, instructions
- and controls so that the safety of employees and environmental compliance can be guaranteed.
- Monitor the environmental regulatory parameters on a regular basis and report any deviations to Shift Supervisor/Engineer for corrective action.
Who will fit?
- A technical certificate / Electrical or Instrument Engineering.
- Experience in electrical, instrument and control maintenance installation, maintenance and engineering of electronic equipment and installations in a plant environment.
