Position: 1.Site Manager (Aloe Ridge-Western Cape)
Experience required:
- Minimum of 15 years’ experience in the civil engineering industry
- (Road layer works and Kerbs, bulk earthworks, stormwater, and sewer reticulation)
Minimum Requirements and KPA’s
- Registered with SACPCMP as a Professional Construction Project Manager or Professional Construction Manager.
- Or registered with ECSA as a Professional Civil Engineer, Technologist, or Technician.
- Knowledge of construction methods and technologies, and ability to interpret technical drawings and contracts.
- Ability to manage project activities simultaneously with a constant eye on quality.
- Knowledge of the civil engineering code requirements and scheduling methods.
- Planning, organizing, directing, controlling, and evaluating construction projects from start to finish according to schedule, specifications, and budget.
- Preparing and submitting construction project budget estimates.
- Coordinate the quality control programs with the assistance of the Quality Assurance Manager.
- Preparing progress reports and issuing progress schedules to the Contracts Manager.
- Adhere to Company Safety Standards and promote safety culture among the ranks throughout the company.
- Hiring and supervising the activities of subcontractors and subordinate staff.
