Job Title: Site Foreman – Structural Steel
Location: Johannesburg South
Salary: Gross Salary: R20,000.00 per month
Job Overview:
We are looking for a reliable and experienced Site Foreman to supervise and coordinate structural steel installation on construction sites. The successful candidate must have strong leadership skills, the ability to read and interpret technical drawings, and experience managing site teams to ensure projects are completed safely, efficiently, and to specification.
Key Responsibilities:
- Supervise and coordinate structural steel erection and installation on site
- Read and interpret engineering and construction drawings accurately
- Manage and direct site workers, steel erectors, and subcontractors
- Ensure work is completed according to project plans and deadlines
- Maintain high health and safety standards on site
- Coordinate deliveries of materials and equipment
- Report daily site progress to management
- Identify and resolve site-related issues quickly and efficiently
Minimum Requirements:
- Proven experience as a Site Foreman in structural steel or construction
- Ability to read and understand structural drawings
- Strong leadership and communication skills
- Knowledge of construction site safety regulations
- Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines
- Valid driver’s license (advantageous)
