Role Description
This is a full-time Site Engineer – Mechanical Power role based on-site in Giza. The Site Engineer will oversee the installation, maintenance, and operation of power generators. Responsibilities include supervising on-site activities, ensuring compliance with safety regulations, monitoring quality control, managing structural engineering tasks, and coordinating with civil engineers and contractors. The role involves problem-solving, resource management, and regular reporting to project stakeholders.
Qualifications
- Proven experience in site operations and management for mechanical power systems
- Minimum 2 year of experience in a manufacturing or production environment (preferably in metal fabrication, generator assembly, or related industries).
- Strong quality control, maintenance oversight, and troubleshooting skills
- Technical knowledge in structural engineering and the ability to collaborate with civil engineers and multidisciplinary teams
- Excellent communication and team coordination abilities
- Degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field
- Knowledge of industry-specific safety regulations and practices
- Experience with power generation or similar mechanical engineering projects is a plus
