Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Site Engineer role based in Giza. The Site Engineer will oversee daily construction and installation activities, ensuring work is executed according to design specifications, safety standards, and quality requirements. Responsibilities include supervising site teams, coordinating with project managers and contractors, monitoring progress against schedules, and resolving technical issues that arise during execution. The role also involves preparing site reports, documenting work completed, supporting inspections, and ensuring compliance with relevant codes and regulations. The Site Engineer will collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to deliver projects on time, within scope, and in alignment with client and company standards.

Qualifications

  • Candidates should possess strong on-site execution skills, including experience managing construction activities and coordinating field teams.
  • Candidates should possess effective communication skills, enabling clear interaction with project stakeholders, contractors, and site personnel.
  • Candidates should possess quality control skills, including the ability to inspect work, identify non-conformities, and implement corrective actions.
  • Candidates should possess structural engineering and civil engineering knowledge relevant to transmission lines, substations, and infrastructure projects.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or related engineering discipline.
  • Knowledge of EPC project workflows, safety regulations, and construction standards in the energy sector.
  • Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and technical specifications.
  • Strong problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and willingness to work in field conditions.
  • Previous experience in transmission, substations, or energy infrastructure projects is an advantage.
