chemicals; to name a few.

In alignment with the Egyptian ecological regulations and sustainable development goals, to eliminate the current negative practices such as landfill and incineration.

Overview:

Oversee the production process & Maintenance, ensuring that safety requirement in place and operations are carried out in a timely and cost-effective manner, while maintaining quality standards, develop and implement production schedules to meet customer delivery requirements, optimize production capacity & Ensuring compliance within government legislation regarding waste management, company policy and all aspects of health and safety within the facility.

Responsibilities:

Health & Safety:

  • Adhere to and enforce relevant legislation and policies and ensure that highest degree of safety and safe working practices are maintained.
  • Communicating, improving, and enforcing safety standards in all work environments and areas, Acting as a role model.

Functional:

  • Supervise sorting system operations and material handling activities to ensure safe, efficient, and continuous workflow.
  • Conduct regular inspections of machinery and equipment to ensure optimal performance, reliability, and maximum utilization.
  • Manage production activities, prepare operational reports, and lead troubleshooting efforts to resolve process and equipment issues.
  • Monitor equipment performance maximizing operational efficiency and minimize downtime.
  • Maintain high-quality standards for alternative fuel materials through effective sorting, handling, and storage practices.
  • Develop, analyze, and maintain productivity, inventory, and operational performance reports to support decision-making.
  • Establish preventive and corrective maintenance plans, manage spare parts inventory, and ensure timely execution of maintenance activities.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with external stakeholders, contractors, suppliers, and service providers.
  • Ensure excellent housekeeping standards are maintained throughout the platform, warehouses, and production areas.
  • Lead, coach, and develop platform technicians to achieve high productivity levels while maintaining strong health and safety performance.
  • Promote and maintain a safe working environment across all operational areas, acting as the site focal point for Health, Safety, and Environment (HSE) matters.
  • Manage and develop the operations team, fostering a high-performance culture through continuous training, engagement, and talent development.
  • Optimize the utilization and operational readiness of mobile equipment.
  • Ensure Alternative Fuel (AF) materials comply with established quality standards and acceptance criteria.
  • Monitor stockpile management activities, including temperature monitoring, aeration, and safe separation distances, in accordance with safety requirements.
  • Oversee industrial waste acceptance and rejection processes, ensuring compliance with specifications and safe handling procedures.
  • Verify system availability and operational readiness through daily inspections and checklist reviews.
  • Conduct Root Cause Analysis (RCA) investigations for operational Key Performance Indicator (KPI) deviations and implement corrective and preventive actions.
  • Monitor, report, and analyze safety, production, and operational Key Performance Indicator (KPIs), while auditing traffic management compliance on a daily basis.
  • Coordinate with Supply Chain and Procurement teams to ensure timely availability of raw materials and maintain accurate inventory control on a daily basis.
  • Develop, review, and continuously improve Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) to enhance operational effectiveness and drive continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Ensure accurate and timely communication of operational plans and performance data to support monthly closing activities and business reporting.
  • Prepare and present monthly operational and planning reports, including Key Performance Indicator (KPI) performance, operational challenges, and improvement opportunities.
  • Oversee maintenance activities and ensure the availability of critical spare parts to support reliable and uninterrupted operations.

Education, Qualifications & Experience:

Education:

Bachelor degree in Mechanical Engineering

Skills:

  • Sap user
  • Microsoft Office Applications
  • Analytical Skills
  • Familiar with RDF & Biomass Shredders
  • Heavy Mobile Equipment background
  • Extensive knowledge of effective health and safety
  • Strategy planning experience
  • Budget management

Experience:

  • 3 to 5 years of operational experience with minimum 2 years AF pre-processing.
  • Cement Background or waste management companies.
  • Industrial experience in waste treatment operations or equivalent
