Showroom Sales Consultant – Luxury Interiors & Decor (homeware)
George – Western Cape
Salary: R15K Neg (DOE) CTC + Comm & Benefits

REQUIREMENTS:
- National Senior Certificate
- Certificate or Diploma in Interior Design/Decor or related field advantageous
- Minimum 2 years sales experience in retail in a similar role, same or related industry
- Exposure to an interior design environment
- Experience in coordinating the operational aspects of a shop or outlet is an advantage
- Own reliable transport
- Be assertive with drive and ambition
- Be decisive and able to prioritize
- Ability to cope in a high-paced and high-pressure environment.
MAIN DUTIES:
- Support showroom operations by organizing cuttings, sample hangers, and books
- Support showroom customer service by assisting sales staff in the showroom, as well as the Sales Consultants who are mainly out on the road servicing clients.
- Support showroom customer service by answering and directing calls, responding to enquiries, scanning appros in and out, liaising with clients to collect orders, offering and making for clients, etc.
- Maintaining cleanliness and order of the showroom, cuttings, and surrounding areas.
Skills required:
- Good telephone etiquette
- Excellent communication skills (written and spoken)
- Good presentation skills
- Good with building and maintaining customer relationships
- Excellent customer service and after-sales service
- Good at selling products and concepts
- Well-presented and professional with good business etiquette.
