Role Description This is a full-time, Factory and Site based Shopfitter / Installation role based in Edenvale. The role involves reading and interpreting technical drawings, preparing materials in the workshop, and performing on-site installations at client locations. The Shopfitter will also be responsible for maintaining tools and equipment, following safety procedures, and working closely with colleagues and supervisors to meet deadlines and quality standards.
Qualifications
- Strong carpentry skills, with experience in both structural and detailed woodwork (Carpentry, Framing).
- Proficient in the safe and effective use of common hand tools.
- Comfortable operating and maintaining a variety of power tools used in workshop and on-site environments.
- Previous experience in shopfitting, joinery, or a similar carpentry environment is strongly preferred.
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, measurements, and cutting lists with attention to detail.
- Good physical stamina for long shifts, manual dexterity, and ability to work safely in a workshop and on active job sites.
- Must be Reliable, Punctual, and able to work overtime on short notice to meet deadlines.
