Job Summary
The LTL Shipping Coordinator is responsible for coordinating, scheduling, and optimizing less-than-truckload shipments to ensure timely, cost-effective, and accurate delivery of goods. This role acts as a key liaison between warehouses, carriers, and customer service teams, managing freight logistics, documentation, and performance tracking.
Key Responsibilities
- Plan, schedule, and coordinate LTL shipments with enterprise class TMS
- Generate and manage shipping documentation, including BOLs (Bills of Lading)
- Track shipments and proactively resolve delays, damages, or discrepancies
- Communicate shipment status updates to internal teams and customers
- Maintain compliance with transportation regulations and company policies
- Analyze shipping data to identify cost-saving opportunities and improve processes
- Build and maintain relationships with carriers and freight brokers
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent (Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Logistics, Supply Chain, or related field preferred)
- 4+ years of experience in transportation, logistics, or shipping coordination (LTL experience preferred)
- Familiarity with TMS (Transportation Management Systems) and shipping software
- Strong understanding of freight classification, NMFC codes, and routing
- Proficient in MacOS, ERP and data entry

Pay: From $22.00 per hour
