Position Overview
We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Shipping & Receiving Specialist to support all outbound and inbound logistics within our manufacturing operation.
This is a hands-on individual contributor role. The ideal candidate will take ownership of shipping, receiving, and inventory-related processes while ensuring accuracy, efficiency, and on-time delivery.
Key Responsibilities
Shipping & Logistics:
– Prepare and pack orders accurately
– Manage domestic and international shipping
– Prepare commercial invoices and customs documentation
– Coordinate with carriers (FedEx, UPS, freight)
– Track shipments and resolve issues
Receiving & Inventory:
– Receive and verify incoming materials
– Inspect shipments for accuracy
– Support cycle counts
Operations Support:
– Coordinate with production and procurement
– Resolve material flow issues
– Maintain clean workspace
Required Experience
– 3+ years in shipping/receiving
– Experience with packing and shipping
– International shipping and customs knowledge
– Experience with shipping software or ERP systems
– Experience with major carriers
– Inventory handling experience
– Comfortable lifting and handling materials as needed
