Role Overview
We are recruiting Shift QC Inspectors to form the operational backbone of a multi-site quality control unit. Working on a rotating shift basis — including nights — to maintain continuous production coverage, you will monitor line output, conduct sampling inspections, capture evidence, and report findings to the Senior Factory QA Manager. This is a hands-on factory floor role, not an office position. We need candidates who are detail-oriented, disciplined with documentation, and who will flag non-conformances without hesitation.
Key Responsibilities
- Monitor production lines throughout the assigned shift
- Conduct dimensional checks, count verification, and random sampling
- Inspect product construction, materials, and hardware against approved specifications
- Verify barcodes, serial numbers, and labelling accuracy
- Capture timestamped photographic and video evidence of inspections
- Verify packaging and loading procedures
- Submit regular inspection reports to the Senior Factory QA Manager
- Flag and document non-conformances immediately upon detection
Requirements
- 3+ years in factory-based QC inspection
- Background in industrial manufacturing, textiles, automotive assembly, or similar production environments
- Ability to read and apply technical specifications and AQL sampling tables
- Detail-oriented with strong and consistent documentation habits
- Physically capable of extended factory floor work across rotating shifts including nights
- Comfortable with digital reporting tools and photographic evidence capture
Additional Notes
Shift rotation including nights is mandatory. Candidates must be available for long-term international deployment.
This role is based in South Africa. Successful candidates will be required to travel to and deploy at international manufacturing sites as directed. Travel, accommodation, and deployment costs are covered by the employer.
Pay: R15 000,00 – R35 000,00 per month
