Role Description The Shift Manager is a full-time, on-site role based in Cairo, Egypt, responsible for overseeing daily operations during assigned shifts at Ghazal Health Center. This role includes managing staff schedules, supervising team performance, and ensuring that service standards and guest experience meet Ghazal’s quality and luxury expectations. The Shift Manager monitors workflow on the floor, addresses guest inquiries or concerns, and coordinates with reception, therapists, and beauty professionals to maintain smooth service delivery. They are also responsible for implementing health, safety, and cleanliness protocols, supporting training and onboarding of team members, and reporting operational issues or improvements to senior management. The role requires active presence during shifts, hands-on leadership, and consistent communication to foster a positive, efficient, and mindful work environment.

Qualifications

  • Experience in supervising or managing shifts in hospitality, wellness, spa, or beauty service environments, with strong team leadership and people management skills.
  • Ability to coordinate daily operations, including scheduling, task delegation, and workflow monitoring, while maintaining a high level of guest satisfaction.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills to interact effectively with guests, team members, and management in a professional and respectful manner.
  • Knowledge of basic administrative practices such as reporting, record-keeping, and incident documentation, along with solid problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
  • Commitment to high standards of hygiene, health, and safety, with an eye for detail and quality in service delivery and workplace ambiance.
  • Ability to work full-time on-site in Cairo, Egypt, with flexibility for evening, weekend, and holiday shifts as needed.
  • Previous experience in beauty, wellness, healthcare, or hospitality sectors is preferred; familiarity with environmentally conscious and holistic service concepts is an advantage.
  • Relevant educational background in hospitality management, business, or a related field is beneficial, though equivalent practical experience will be considered.
