POSITION INFO:
A company working in high-risk industrial environments is looking for an experienced SHEQ Manager to take ownership of all health, safety, environmental, and quality processes.
This role is suited to someone who is confident working with systems, audits, and compliance, and can keep everything running smoothly across the business.
Non-Negotiable Requirements:
- Relevant qualification in Safety, Environmental, or Quality Management
- Certifications such as SAMTRAC, NEBOSH, or ISO auditing
- 7–10 years’ experience in a SHEQ role within industrial environments
- Good understanding of ISO standards and South African safety regulations
- Experience with audits, risk assessments, and incident reporting
Job Experience & Skills Required:
- Manage and maintain SHEQ systems and documentation
- Ensure that the company stays compliant with safety and environmental regulations
- Conduct audits, inspections, and risk assessments
- Handle incidents, investigations, and reporting
- Support tenders and operational compliance requirements
- Work closely with teams on-site to maintain safe working practices
