SUMMARY:
A well-established company in Brakpan is seeking a SHE Officer to oversee and maintain its Safety, Health & Environmental.
POSITION INFO:
Key Responsibilities (SHE Manager)
- Manage and maintain the company’s Safety, Health & Environmental (SHE) systems and ensure legal compliance
- Conduct audits, risk assessments, inspections, and incident investigations
- Ensure compliance with OHSAS/ISO standards and relevant legislation
- Oversee security operations and investigate incidents or losses
- Prepare safety files and ensure site safety compliance for
Minimum Requirements
- Grade 12 (Matric) with Mathematics
- Degree/Diploma in Safety/Environmental or related field
- OHSAS 18001 / NOSA certification (ISO 14001 advantageous)
- Qualified internal systems auditor
- Strong knowledge of OHS, environmental, labour and compliance legislation
- At least 5–10 years’ experience in manufacturing/process and occupational health & safety
- Management and administrative experience in a SHE environment
