Duties & Responsibilities:
- Conduct daily inspections and pre-start checks on equipment.
- Maintain shaft equipment, safety devices, and accessories to required standards.
- Install, maintain, and repair shaft support systems.
- Adhere to Mine Health & Safety Act requirements.
- Assist with shaft equipping and related activities.
- Strong understanding of underground mining practices.
- Ability to read and interpret engineering diagrams.
- Familiarity with safety, health, and environmental legislation.
