Sewing Machine Operator/Seamstress for knit blankets Jobs in Asbury Park, NJ at KMSCO Inc-LOGO KNITS
We are looking for a sewing machine operator for our finishing department. We manufacture quality, knit blankets. We are a small company, pleasant work conditions, safe location. Factory is in Ocean Twp. Applicant should:
- Have some sewing machine experience! Even if it is sewing at home! We will train you on the specifics of these machines.
- Be capable of standing for extended periods
- Have an excellent work ethic
- Successful applicant will also be required to perform other textile material handling functions, such as:
- Inspection of material
- Folding of blankets
- Simple hand work of pulling in and trimming threads
Starting pay of $22 per hour. After a 1 month trial period, if we are satisfied with your work and ability, your pay will increase to $24 per hour.
Should we decide to interview you, please know that you will be asked to sew a couple of test pieces.
