Emeris Durban North has a vacancy for a Sessional Worker/ Part-time lecturer in the School of Management Studies for the following module:
Accounting Software

Key Performance Areas :
Prepare for lectures based on provided content. Supplement content with own expertise. Deliver assigned modules to the stated outcomes and contracted hours. Mark student assessments and provide constructive feedback. Support student academic success by implementing workshops where needed. Perform academic admin, such as capturing assessment marks and reporting on student success. Provide content feedback. Engage with professional development opportunities and attend initial training sessions.

Minimum Qualification Requirements:

Ideal:

3-year Diploma in Accounting

Alternatively:

• A 3-year Diploma in one of the Business-related fields with Accounting or Financial Management up to the third-year level.
• An Advanced Certificate in Accounting/ Financial Management.
• Lecturers will need a Sage One Accounting/Sage Accounting or a Sage Business Cloud Accounting certification.

Minimum Work Experience Requirements:

• Lecturing experience in accounting/ financial management/ asset management.
• Work experience as an accountant/ financial advisor/ asset manager.
• Work experience using Pastel / SAGE Accounting.

Working Conditions:
Please note that this is an Independent Contractor/ part-time role with lectures taking place in person on campus between 08:00 and 17:00
