POSITION INFO:
Key Responsibilities
- Manage service campaigns and ensure successful execution
- Supervise and lead technician staff to maintain high performance standards
- Plan and schedule workshop and field service jobs efficiently
- Maintain strong client relationships and handle all service-related communication
- Oversee and manage the workshop vehicle fleet
- Ensure compliance with SHEQ (Safety, Health, Environment, and Quality) standards within the workshop
- Manage and monitor warranty processes in line with company policies
- Provide technical support and assist with resolving complex queries
- Coordinate and manage contractors and vendors for the service department
- Monitor and control Work-in-Progress (WIP) to ensure operational efficiency
- Assist with workshop debtor queries and administrative follow-ups
Minimum Requirements
- Qualified Earthmoving Mechanic
- Red seal Qualification
- Minimum of 5 years’ relevant experience in a similar role
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Proven leadership, planning, and people management abilities
- Sound knowledge of:
- Warranty policies and procedures
- Disciplinary procedures
- Safety and environmental regulations
- Technical and operational requirements
- Industrial relations and HR procedures
- Administrative processes
- SAP system
- Computer literate
