We are hiring an experienced SEO Specialist to manage and grow organic search performance for Bangbet Tanzania, a leading betting website operating in the market.
This is a full-time, on-site position based in Kampala. Candidates must be physically available to work from the office.

Role Overview
The selected candidate will drive organic growth through strong SEO copywriting, structured keyword implementation, and solid WordPress technical execution. This role combines SEO content expertise with hands-on WordPress development and site management capability.
Key Responsibilities
- Write and publish SEO-optimized articles consistently
- Optimize landing pages, category pages, and game pages
- Conduct keyword research and apply structured keyword clustering
- Improve meta titles, descriptions, headings, and internal linking
- Update and refresh existing ranking content
- Manage and structure content inside WordPress
- Build and manage complete WordPress website structures
- Handle WordPress site setup, configuration, and basic technical optimization
- Monitor keyword rankings and search performance
- Use SEO tools to track and improve performance
Requirements
- Minimum 2 years of SEO experience, with strong focus on SEO copywriting
- Proven experience writing optimized content for competitive industries (betting experience is an advantage)
- Bachelor’s degree in Technology, Mass Communication, Journalism, or a related field
- Strong WordPress development experience
- Practical experience in WordPress web development and content management
- Ability to build and manage a complete WordPress site independently
- Strong understanding of search intent and content structuring
- Proficiency in SEO tools such as Google Search Console, Google Analytics, Ahrefs, SEMrush, or similar
