We are looking for a Senior Software Developer who is not just a strong coder, but a modern engineering practitioner who actively leverages AI tools to design, build, review, and improve software intelligently and responsibly.
You are curious, opinionated about good engineering, and stay ahead of modern .NET and software development trends. You take ownership, solve complex problems, and operate comfortably in large, structured engineering teams.
You want to
- Translate complex business requirements into scalable desktop, web, and Windows service solutions used globally
- Design, build, and maintain high performance systems using modern C# and .NET frameworks
- Actively use AI tools to enhance development quality, speed, architecture thinking, debugging, and learning, not as a shortcut for copying code
- Write clean, maintainable, testable code and meaningful unit tests
- Design and optimise relational database structures and write advanced SQL (queries, stored procedures, functions, triggers)
- Build and consume REST, SOAP, and JSON APIs
- Collaborate closely with UX/UI designers and product teams to deliver user centric solutions
You have
- Strong professional experience in C# and the .NET ecosystem (modern .NET preferred)
- Deep understanding of ASP.NET and backend service development
- Strong SQL skills across relational databases such as MSSQL, PostgreSQL, or MySQL
- Solid experience designing and consuming APIs (REST and/or SOAP)
- Experience working in large, structured engineering teams
- Comfortable working in an office based or hybrid environment with strong collaboration expectations
- Up to date with modern .NET evolution, frameworks, tooling, and industry best practices
- Strong problem-solving ability and engineering maturity
- Use Claude Code as a primary AI coding assistant to support development, debugging, refactoring, and exploration of solutions, ensuring it enhances engineering quality rather than replacing core understanding or problem solving
Nice to have:
- Angular or other modern frontend framework experience
- Windows desktop application or service development
- Mobile development exposure (Android or cross platform) MSMQ (AMQP)
- Exposure to mapping technologies (Google Maps, OpenStreetMap, etc.)
- Experience with unit testing and test-driven development
- Strong Git or other source control experience
