Senior SAP Specialist

This is a 12 – month contract with our client in the Banking sector

Design, build, and optimize SAP Profitability and Performance Management (PaPM) models and integrations across core enterprise systems, ensuring high-performing financial allocations, model execution, and closing support.

Key Responsibilities

• 
  Model Design & Maintenance: Build and maintain complex SAP PaPM models for cost allocations, Asset Liability Management (ALM), margin modelling, VAT allocations, and General Ledger (GL) analytics.

• 
  System Integration & Development:Integrate PaPM across SAP S/4HANA, BW/4HANA, ECC, HANA, SAC, and external platforms; write and optimize SAP HANA SQL Scripts, AMDP procedures, CDS Views, and linked ABAP code.

• 
  Performance & Automation: Monitor execution times, optimize model performance, and design automated process scheduling and background runs.

• 
  Operational & Closing Support:Provide month-end/year-end financial close support, incident resolution, root-cause analysis, system transport management, and user guidance.

• 
  Testing & Upgrades: Lead unit, integration, and UAT testing, while supporting validation during database, application, and ODS upgrades.

Minimum Requirements

• 
  Core Technical Expertise: Hands-on experience designing and configuring SAP PaPM models.

• 
  SAP Ecosystem Proficiency: Strong technical background across SAP BW/4HANA, S/4HANA, ECC, SAP HANA, and SAP Analytics Cloud (SAC).

• 
  Development Skills: Proven ability in ABAP development, SAP HANA SQL Script, AMDP procedures, and CDS Views.

• 
  Financial Processes: Sound understanding of financial allocations, GL analytics, and financial close operations.
