Requirements
- A relevant 3-year tertiary qualification, preferably a
National Diploma or BCom with Financial Accounting as a
major subject
- 5 to 8 years relevant experience required which includes
2 years supervisory experience
- Computer Literacy: MS Office
Key Performance Areas
- Administers the process of budgeting and reporting and
provides relevant financial information to support financial
planning sequences within the Economic Development
and Investment Department.
- Performs tasks/ activities to effect financial control of
Departmental and Directorate Finance activities, processes
and procedures.
- Implement, coordinate and facilitate the City’s Asset
Management Policy and procedures for the Economic
Development and Investment Department.
- Assist with the consolidation of monthly management reports
for the Economic Development and Investment Department
on actual financial performance against budget.
- Coordinates all financial and audit matters for the Economic
Development and Investment Department.
- Directs and controls the Key Performance Indicators and
work allocation of personnel within the Finance unit of the
Support Services Branch.
- Performs specific activities associated with general functions
within the Support Services Branch.
