Requirements
- B Tech / B Eng or BSC degree in Civil Engineering.
- 5 – 8 Years relevant experience.
- ECSA Registration as Pr Eng/ Pr Tech Eng.
- A Valid driver’s licence.
- Computer Literacy, MS Projects.
Key Performance Areas
- Oversee tenders demand planning, procurement strategies and
implementation in line with SCM governance requirements.
- Performing various tender functions by drafting the specification &
quality control criteria for the various services & goods required to
provide sustainable water & sanitation cleaning & maintenance
services as well as infrastructure roll outs to eradicate backlogs.
- Serving as Bid Committee chairperson for branch Tenders within
the Demand Plan.
- Manage all aspects of the Tender Demand Plan to ensure
continuity in service provision by ensuring no Contract Gaps
- Preparing tender documentations & council reports in accordance
with supply chain management regulations.
- Managing contract implementation ensuring consistent adherence
to standards and specifications.
- Managing contractor liaison procedures in order to track remedy
or terminate non performing contractors according to supply chain
management regulations.
- Ensure effective performance and contract management in
accordance with the Corporate Contract Management System
and Contract Management Framework.
- Liaise and maintain effective relationships with internal and
external stakeholders and service providers.
- Manage staff performance, productivity, productivity,
development and discipline to ensure operational excellence
within the division.
