Senior Planner (Outages)
An EME based in Pretoria East, Watloo is seeking a dedicated and experienced professional to join their team.
Minimum Requirements:
- National Diploma or Degree in Engineering, Project Management, Maintenance Management, or related qualification
- Minimum 5 years’ experience in outage/shutdown planning within power generation or heavy industrial environments
- Proven experience in outage scheduling, shutdown coordination, and maintenance planning
- Experience working on Eskom power stations or large industrial outages will be advantageous
- Proficient in SAP, Primavera P6, and MS Project
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and manage outage schedules and maintenance plans
- Coordinate resources, contractors, and shutdown activities
- Monitor outage progress and ensure adherence to timelines
- Compile reports, work packs, and close-out documentation
- Ensure compliance with safety and quality standards
Skills and Competencies:
- Strong planning and organizational skills
- Excellent communication and coordination abilities
- Ability to work under pressure and meet strict deadlines
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
