Senior Parts Sales ExecutiveJob Purpose

The Senior Parts Sales Executive is responsible for driving parts sales growth, developing and maintaining strong customer relationships, managing parts enquiries and quotations, and ensuring exceptional customer service. The role requires extensive knowledge of automotive parts, strong sales abilities, and a proactive approach to achieving sales targets and business objectives.

Key ResponsibilitiesSales & Business Development

  • Achieve and exceed monthly parts sales targets.
  • Generate new business opportunities and maintain existing customer relationships.
  • Proactively identify opportunities to increase parts sales within the market.
  • Conduct customer visits and maintain regular contact with key accounts.
  • Promote parts specials, campaigns, and new product offerings.

Customer Service

  • Provide professional and efficient service to internal and external customers.
  • Accurately identify and source parts according to customer requirements.
  • Handle customer enquiries, quotations, orders, and follow-ups.
  • Resolve customer complaints and queries promptly and professionally.
  • Build long-term relationships through exceptional service delivery.

Parts Administration

  • Prepare accurate quotations and process orders efficiently.
  • Monitor outstanding quotations and follow up on potential sales opportunities.
  • Ensure all transactions are correctly captured and documented.
  • Maintain accurate customer records and sales reports.
  • Assist with stock control and inventory management where required.

Inventory & Product Knowledge

  • Maintain an in-depth understanding of parts catalogues and manufacturer systems.
  • Assist in identifying fast-moving and slow-moving stock items.
  • Support stock planning and forecasting activities.
  • Ensure correct parts are supplied to minimise returns and customer dissatisfaction.

Reporting & Compliance

  • Prepare sales reports and performance updates as required.
  • Monitor sales performance against targets.
  • Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures.
  • Maintain a professional image and represent the company positively at all times.

Minimum Requirements

  • Grade 12 (Matric).
  • Minimum 5 years’ experience in automotive parts sales.
  • Proven track record of achieving sales targets.
  • Strong knowledge of automotive parts and accessories.
  • Experience working on automotive dealer management systems.
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
  • Computer literate (MS Office and dealership systems).
  • Valid driver’s licence.
  • Contactable references.

Preferred Experience

  • Previous dealership experience.
  • Experience with manufacturer parts catalogues and ordering systems.
  • Existing customer network within the automotive industry would be advantageous.

Pay: Up to R25 000,00 per month
