At SODIC, we’re looking for a dynamic and experienced Senior Mall Manager to lead the end-to-end operations of one of our flagship lifestyle destinations, EDNC.
This role is critical in delivering a Class A customer experience, ensuring operational excellence, and driving tenant satisfaction and asset performance.
Key Responsibilities:
Mall Operations Management
- Lead and oversee daily mall operations to ensure seamless functionality and premium customer experience.
- Manage operational readiness and peak periods to maintain safety, efficiency and service quality.
Tenant Relationship Management
- Act as the main point of contact for tenants to ensure satisfaction, retention and smooth operations.
- Resolve tenant issues and escalations to protect business continuity and revenue streams.
Facility Management & Contractor Governance
- Oversee service providers and ensure adherence to SLAs/KPIs.
- Monitor preventive and corrective maintenance to minimize risks and downtime.
Retail Design & Delivery Coordination
- Manage tenant fit-out processes and ensure timely store openings.
- Address site constraints to avoid delays impacting leasing and operations.
Financial & Operational Control
- Manage OPEX budgets and drive cost optimization initiatives.
- Ensure cost efficiency while maintaining high service standards.
Events & Commercial Support
- Support execution of events and activations to drive footfall and tenant performance.
- Ensure operational readiness for all mall events.
Reporting & Governance
- Prepare regular operational reports to support decision-making.
- Ensure compliance with SOPs, audits and governance frameworks.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Business Administration or related field.
- 10+ years of experience in mall or retail asset operations.
- Proven experience managing Class A lifestyle malls.
- Strong leadership and stakeholder management skills.
- Excellent negotiation, communication, and problem-solving abilities.
- Customer-centric mindset with high accountability.
- Ability to manage complexity and perform under pressure.
- Fluent in English (written & spoken) and Arabic (native).
- Strong proficiency in MS Office (Excel & PowerPoint).
- Preferred: MBA or Real Estate specialization, experience with CAFM/property management systems.
