For the newly established Bonna Premium Porcelain factory in Egypt, we are looking for a highly experienced and results-driven Senior Logistics Specialist to join our growing operations team in Alexandria.
The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing logistics, customs clearance, transportation, warehouse coordination, and import/export operations while ensuring compliance with Egyptian regulations and operational efficiency
.
Key Qualifications
- Experience: 5–10 years of experience in logistics, shipping operations, warehouse operations, or supply chain management
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field
- Master’s degree is considered an advantage
- Industry Experience Preferred: Ceramics, FMCG, manufacturing, distribution, or related industries
Technical Knowledge & Competencies
- Strong knowledge of Egyptian customs regulations and clearance procedures
- Hands-on experience with Egyptian government customs systems such as Nafeza and MTS (mandatory)
- Proven experience in import and export regulations in Egypt
- Inventory and warehouse management expertise
- Transportation and distribution coordination experience
- ERP systems knowledge (SAP or similar ERP systems preferred)
- Advanced Excel and reporting skills
- Strong communication and problem-solving abilities
- Ability to manage logistics operations effectively under pressure
Key Responsibilities
- Coordinate and oversee daily logistics and supply chain operations
- Manage import/export shipments and customs clearance processes
- Ensure compliance with Egyptian customs laws and regulations
- Monitor warehouse inventory accuracy and operational efficiency
- Coordinate transportation and distribution activities with internal and external stakeholders
- Prepare operational reports and analyze logistics performance
- Work closely with suppliers, freight forwarders, and customs brokers to ensure smooth operations
- Identify and implement process improvements to optimize logistics performance and reduce costs
