Senior Lecturer/Lecturer:
Peace and Security Studies, International Relations, and Development
For Senior Lecturer level, a PhD in Peace and Security, International Relations, and Development is a necessity.
For Lecturer level, a Master’s degree in any of these fields is required.
Demonstrate ability to teach: (i) Security modules; (ii) Public Policy; (iii) Political Economy; and as an added advantage, (iv) any of the public sector discourses like Decision-making, Management and Governance.
Publication and supervision experience commensurate with the level of appointment are required.
An active research agenda focused on the public sector including but not limited to security, peace, international relations, political economy, and development as well as socio-economic challenges on the continent and their envisaged interventions, is a requirement.
